2 flashes = check that the rotor turns freely, unlock it manually if necessary

3 flashes = switch off, wait 30 seconds and switch on the board. If the fault is temporary the circulator should start again.

4 flashes = switch off, wait 30 seconds and switch on the board. If the fault is temporary the circulator should start again.

5 flashes = wait 30 minutes without switching off the circulator. If the fault is temporary the circulator should start again.

DAB Evosta 2 is equipped with a vent plug which allows the circulator to be degassed. Degassing is an important and necessary operation to be performed during the first installation and at the start of the circulator after long stop time. First you have to set the maximum constant speed, then unscrew the vent plug to let all the air inside the circulator to come out. This video show how to air vent the Evosta 2:

If the Evosta 2 circulator, not completely degassed, has been unoperational with water for a long time, for example a few months (the period may vary depending on the hardness of the water used in the system), limescale may be formed that can determine the block in the rotation of the motor, highlighted by the relative error shown on the display (2 flashes). In these cases it is possible to try to unlock the motor shaft by removing the vent plug and acting with a screwdriver on the shaft, as shown in the Evosta 2 how to Manual deblocking the shaft:

This phenomenon occurs if there is air inside the circulator. It is therefore of paramount importance to air vent the circulator to avoid the presence of air bubbles that can lead to the formation of limestone.
